About

The Research Center (RC) at Sulaimani Polytechnic University (SPU) brings together local and international scholars and researchers to undertake state-of-art high quality research. Through our group research projects, we strive to create new knowledge that scholarly contribute to sciences, arts, and humanities. By collaborating with our local and international partners, our scholars undertake research projects that address the local and global needs and challenges. Our research projects involve and engage stakeholders from academia, local government, community, NGOs, and industry.

We encourage interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research, and, therefore, connect ideas and scholars from different fields and disciplines in our projects.
